I have been using the same one for over 5 years without issue.
These are the best Microphone's you can buy for such little money.
I bought one as a spare 3 years ago and have not needed it.
Recently bought another one of these for my wife who was using an expensive one that didn't have near the quality of sound you get out of one of these. The Cyber Acoustics ACM-51 Boom Microphone is the top in my book. If you're having problems with it ever, it is most likely due to your settings on your computer, or your configuration of the sound card. I have never found this Microphone to be the problem. It's just to simple of a design (which I like) and less to go wrong. Bottom line, buy one!

Pros:Cheap, clear sound, detects sound without having to put your mouth right next to it (I can lean back completely in my chair, even walk to the other side of the room, and it will detect my voice. I was also talking in a regular voice volume)
Cons:Uni-direction(but it really doesn't matter)
